October 2014 Phil and family moved from Bentonville to Springdale. In Bentonville, Phil was only five minutes from work. But the kids and Carly were 35 minutes from school. In addition church was almost 45 minutes away. So the decision was to move.

There has also been job changes. Carly spent the last few years developing her math classes to be challenging for her students. She introduced a new concept based on substantial research called "Flipping" the classroom to reinforce lessons. As a teacher of 30 years, I was very proud of her accomplishments. The preparation involved is very intense requiring many extra hours.
But when she returned, it was decided to change her schedule. Now she would be teaching Finance - Accounting - College Accounting - Economics. The work previously put in now would not be able to be used. It was explained that they wanted her imagination and creativity in these new classes. I hope they realize what an outstanding teacher they have.
Phil also had a job change in November. His previous title was Vice President, Merchandise Solutions at Sam's Club.
The new responsibilities have required many addition hours but according to him, he'll get figured out.
